Artificial Intelligence?
Students will be introduced to AI, AR, and VR concepts using the Tynker platform. They will then create (with assistance) a program that uses each concept. First project-facial recognition and AR. Second project-hand recognition and painting program. Third project-body recognition and dancing program.

- It is helpful to go through the lessons a few times and practice the coding to familiarize yourself with the code blocks and locations.
Lesson Plan
Overview
Students will be introduced to AI, AR, and VR concepts using the Tynker platform. They will then create (with assistance) a program that uses each concept. First project-facial recognition and AR. Second project-hand recognition and painting program. Third project-body recognition and dancing program.
ASSESSMENT PRE/POST-TEST
What is AR? What is AI? What is VR?
OBJECTIVES
Students will be able to define AI, AR, and VR. Students will be able to communicate the difference between Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, and Virtual Reality. Students will create at least one working project using code blocks in Tynker that utilizes AI blocks and AR blocks.
CATCH/HOOK
Showing a video of robots and then a complete project of what the students can complete when done.
ACTIVITY INSTRUCTIONS
Using the Tinker platform, the instructor will introduce terminology, concepts, and coding blocks. Tinker provides ppts for all lessons to teachers. Teacher will then demo the tutorial program to students that enables them to create their own working AI and AR projects. Students work to complete these projects with assistance.
