Activity Overview:

Student learners will build a snowman using a Google Slides template. They will click and drag snowman parts and accessories to create a unique snowman. Once the snowman is built, they will write a story about their snowman and it’s unique personality.

OBJECTIVES

*Learners will use Google Slides to make computational output in the form of a digital snowman.

*Learners will write a 4 to 5 sentence paragraph about their snowman with a topic sentence, supporting details and a concluding sentence.

ACTIVITY INSTRUCTIONS

Copy and paste items from the following slides onto your snowman. If you need different pictures, you can search for more by clicking “Insert” then “Image” then “Search”. When done building, write about your snowman or snowwoman in the textbox. You can describe them, tell a story about them, or explain who they are.
